Reality Smacks Environmentalist Upside The Head

May 4th, 2008 by Kevin

The irony of this quote is just too sweet.

“If we don’t experience warming over the next 10 years, it doesn’t mean that greenhouse-gas warming is not with us,” Keenlyside said in an interview. “There can be natural fluctuations that may mask climate change in the short term.”

The possibility that “global warming” itself was the natural fluctuation apparently doesn’t register.  Too bad really.  You can almost watch their little climate change world collapse around their tofu-filled heads.  It turns out their computer models were pretty good at predicting patterns….just not this planet’s patterns.

It’s morbidly amusing that in an effort to cling to their world view they invoke how the warming oceans are just temporarily disrupting the warming.  Unfortunately, the actual evidence kinda drowns that idea.

Poor poor environmentalist hippies….if they can’t scare people into buying carbon credits, the might…..have to get real jobs!!!  Oh the humanity.  Save the Whales! Collect The Whole Set!

Q: If a climate change model supposed to predict climate years in advance doesn’t predict climate years in advance, what is it?

A: A joke, with nobody laughing.

Maybe idiotic comments like the this one are just masking the true intelligence of the person who made it.
