Priorities

I’m back from a week in the woods and trying to catch up. One would have thought that between all his golf playing Obama could have found time to make a decision on Afghanistan. Apparently not. Apparently he just doesn’t like his options especially how much they cost.
Now let me get this straight. We have enough money for porkulus. We have enough money to nationalize 20% of the national economy with a socialized health plan. We have enough money for Cash for Clunkers. We have enough money to nationalize the auto industry. We have enough money to bail out most of Wall Street. We have enough money to subsidize ACORN’s “activities”. We have enough money to nationalize the mass transit industry.
However, what we don’t have money for is supporting the troops by giving them the resources they need to succeed in their mission. The resources they need as dictated by the generals, you know the guys that do this for a living and whom we pay to figure this shit out. The ones that Democrats kept saying Bush should listen to (even when he did).
So we have money for all this other crap for which there is no constitutional authority. But when it comes to one of the VERY few things the federal government is constitutionally responsible for, we don’t have enough money? It’s almost as if President Obama is completely full of crap.
