Apparently Hillary Clinton\’s appointment to Secretary of State came with quite a few conditions

To make it possible for his wife to become the top U.S. diplomat, the officials said, former President Clinton agreed:
_to disclose the names of every contributor to his foundation since its inception in 1997 and all contributors going forward.
_to refuse donations from foreign governments to the Clinton Global Initiative, his annual charitable conference.
_to cease holding CGI meetings overseas.
_to volunteer to step away from day-to-day management of the foundation while his wife is secretary of state.
_to submit his speaking schedule to review by the State Department and White House counsel.
_to submit any new sources of income to a similar ethical review.

This is going to be packaged by Obama as wanting a administration with full-transparency.  To be blunt, bullshit.  This is the same Messiah whose acolytes threatened, shouted down or outright silenced anything negative about His Holiness.  This is the same Hopenchange Mayor who absolutely refused to allow anything from His shady past to be questioned.  Transparency is one attribute this administration will not have.

These conditions are nothing more than your standard pre-emptive knee-capping delivered as the final blow to a potential rival faction.

His Holiness and Clinton Clan battled hard in the primaries, end result was just short of being a draw.  After the fact, Clinton still lead a sizeable faction of the Democratic party.  So much that the Messiah had to appease her so that the Democratic National Convention didn\’t look like a circus.  That faction still exists and as long as it did, it was a threat to Obama.

Sure making her Secretary of State did make her a servant of the Messiah and subject to His wrath.  But with her own support base, she could still pursue her own agenda…an agenda that may not necessarily be in line with Mount Olympus.

By airing some of Clinton\’s dirty laundry, it puts a pre-emptive crimp in any future aspirations of the Clinton Clan, make it essentially impotent.  Without an goal or destination, a movement tends to fold.

Transparency? No.  An attempt to decapitate and then make subservient a rival faction?? Yes.
