He Is Human?

What?? This isn\’t what we signed on for!! We elected an omniscient immortal for President to deliver us all to a perfect utopia. And now He is showing signs that he\’s human?? I could have sworn He was presented as being perfect and now he\’s showing physical defects?? We have been betrayed!
The strain of the long campaign and a frenetic transition period is beginning to wear on the face of President-elect Barack Obama, who has developed a facial tic under his right eye.
The tic on the lower part of his right orbital bone is clearly visible in his recent interview with ABC\’s Barbara Walters. Campaign insiders say it first emerged during the primary season and has now become chronic.
I have no doubt that campaigning for President is unbelieveably stressful. I\’ve seen the toll stress can take on candidates for lesser offices. But if he\’s having issues with the stress from running for President, how is he going to handle the stress of actually being President.
All you have to do is take a look at photos of a President before he takes office and then look at photos of them when they leave office, to realize that being President is very stressful. So how\’s he going to deal with the much lampooned 3 AM phone call. Or the next terrorist attack? Controlling the nuclear launch codes? Or even a degrading economy?
If the facial tics are already emerging, what\’s next?

Hmmm. There’s a famous character in the movie “Dr. Strangelove” whose most noticeable affectation is a twitch in the right eye that he adamantly refuses to acknowledge. He is a madman. This does not augur well.

One of the things I kept saying about Bill Clinton was that he was going to have a complete mental collapse in office, as the reality of it collided with his image of himself. He was stronger, smarter and more capable than that. BO has risen faster, promised more, and is far more self-delusional than BC ever thought of being. The question will be how far “round the bend” he can go before someone declares him unfit?
