blah…I took a week off to go hunting and underwent a self-imposed blackout on all news.  It was marvelous.  And I\’m still having issues getting back into any kind of rhythm.  So here you go….stuff I briefly cared about before I decided I didn\’t….

So terrorists take over a bunch of public places and shoot a lot of people.  But India also has very strict gun control laws, how is that possible?!?  You don\’t suppose that if ordinary citizens had been armed they could have stopped the attacks….or at least slowed them down.

A lot of people are bitching about how their 401K has taken a big hit.  What hasn\’t gotten enough attention is that if Democrats get there way, you won\’t have to worry about your 401K anymore….it won\’t exist….replaced by something that performs even worse than your 401K is doing now.

I\’m not sure what it\’s gonna take for the GOP to realize that conservatives hate pork, but clearly the results of 2006 and 2008 haven\’t gotten through.
