How About A "Mean Nasty Liberals" anecdote.....

I have four lovely yard signs for Republican candidates.

Sometime this morning, between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. someone who disrespects my property and ability to make my opinon known knocked over said signs- even taking the time and effort to stop and try and pull the McCain-Palin sign off its frame.

I know it happened at this time because I leave the house to exercise around 5, and by 7 I am home, showered, and off to work.

A day earlier, I had a previous McCain sign disappear.

My reflex reaction to sign mischief is to blame, "those worthless kids", because, (cue cinfessional music) as one of "those worthless kids" I would occasionally tear down campaign signs willy-nilly, between smashing pumpkins, soaping windows, and the other rebellious stuff we did in the Walnut Grove.

However, I never quite had the ambition to roll myself out of bed early in the morning to do it. I don't believe that this nations youth have changed so much as to do so now, either.

Which leads me to the conclusion that some supposed grown-up doesn't like my political expression and feels the need to behave in a juvenile way towards it. This is pathetic and sad.

I hope I catch 'em, so I can tell them the same. In the mean time, I'll keep putting them back up and replacing them as needed....the pathetic vandal has no idea that I practically have the ability to replace them ongoing. I hope this makes the person madder, and madder, and madder.
