Deep Thoughts With Kevin – The Sarah Palin Edition

September 8th, 2008 by Kevin

That’s right, it’s my random linky thing, except there is so much being said about Sarah Palin, for better or worse, whether true or false, that she gets her own post.

An excellent idea for a new ad campaign for the McCain campaign. It hastens the backlash these attacks on Sarah Palin are likely to have.

A snapshot of some of the things that Palin did as a governor. Certainly looks like she wasn’t just sitting around baking cookies and popping out kids.

Palin-wear is the new big item. Personally my favorite is “Our mama beats your Obama“.

How is Obama gonna respond to the new threat that is Sarah Palin?? Well it appears their approach is covering up their ears and yelling “LA LA LA LA LA I CAN’T HEAR YOU LA LA LA LA LA”.

“America” speaks out about Sarah Palin. Hilarious and more than worth the read, although it’s gonna require some basic knowledge of current events.

Some would say the nomination of Sarah Palin as VP is just gender politics at it’s worst. Well then what do you call the fact that Obama is sending out women surrogates to counter Palin?

Lies, myths and rumors about Sarah Palin? There are ALOT of them and it’s damn near a full time business addressing them. Here is FoxNew’s top seven and here is a damn near comprehensive list of them.

Wow…the hypocrisy that is the Palinomania that has struck the libs.

When Palin talks about her present life it sounds as authentic as Biden’s showy populism came off as false. Enraged feminists are apparently the gatekeepers for less well-educated American women, who are supposed to have 0-1.5 children not 5! Their husbands must be professors, lawyers, CEOs, editors—not snowmobile champions, union members, oil workers, and fishermen—or, worse, all in one! And unlike a Pelosi, Quinn, or Clinton, Palin, God forbid, did not rely on a powerful, wealthy husband or father to energize her career. Worse still, she took no women’s studies class, never attended the Ivy League, and shoots moose. The danger is not just that Sarah Palin could win McCain the election, but she could expose the entire flimsy structure of doctrinaire liberalism as the hypocrisy—and chauvinism—it has become.

Contrary to Obama’s bitching and the media’s criticism, Obama’s DNC speech was more negative than Palin’s RNC speech.

Obama tried pushing a claim that Palin tried to ban a while bunch of books when she was mayor of Wasilla. Problem is that the claim is a hoax, it’s a list that’s been circulating the internet for years only recently attributed to Palin, and even worse the list includes books that handed even been written yet when Palin was mayor. So much for Palin being the queen of dirty smear tactics.
