McCain decided early Thursday who his VP would be, he alerted that person in the afternoon. Thursday afternoon Pawlenty starts cancelling interviews. On the other hand, Pawlenty is supposed to be at the State Fair on Friday…which is when McCain is supposed to make the announcement.
