Wow. You really expect ANY President to do all of that? If so, we should elect Huckabee; at least he TALKS to somebody that could accomplish it. :-)

Seriously, to answer your rhetorical questions:
No, I don't elect a President to "keep the economy going." I can do for myself if the government will stay out of the way.
No, I don't want a President "fixing" Social Security. I want it "fixed" by getting rid of that government Ponzi scheme, especially since, if it is done like the last several times, it will soon collapse, taking us all with it.
No, I don't want government "setting up" a health care system. The best thing the government could do for our health care system is to get the h--- out of it altogether. Prices would drop 50% or more and quality would improve.
I especially don't want government meddling in the free market for energy. When free market prices go up, people find alternatives and we all benefit. When government drives prices up artificially, the government squanders the money and nobody benefits.

If any of these things are what Romney is promising, then I have to agree with you... Go, Romney, and don't let the doorknob....

After watching the debate tonight (Sunday Jan 9th), I think Romney did us all a favor by forcing the other candidates to talk about the real issues in relation to their records. He seems to be balanced in having the right values when it comes to caring for others and his family, but tough when it comes to fighting for the welfare of this country and standing up for true Reagan "conservative" principles. Also, the guy has energy! Don't we want someone like him to stand up to the terrorist? keep the economy going? fix Social Security? Set up health care system?, make us energy independent, etc.? Let's tap into this energy - the other guys looked like they were ready to fall asleep compared to Romney. He has the best chance of winning next Nov - Go Romney!!
