I had dismissed him as my choice because, while he was right on principle in all cases, he was wrong on the practical application of some of them, including the biggest one-- the war on terror. Get that one wrong, and none of the rest mattered. So he's off my list. Lately, though, after seeing some of the insane rantings of RP supporters, I must conclude that his issue positions are so insane, so based in conspiracy theories and fantasyland misperceptions about the real world, that he should never be allowed within a parsec of the Presidency.
