May You Live In Interesting Times

Wow so the Feb 5th caucuses were already gearing up to be a pretty exciting day.
First of all, you have the presidential caucuses for one of the most contested nomination races in a long time. Then of course, my BPOU was looking to reclaim our 37A House Seat, from some crazy lady named Shelley Madore. We have a candidate, we got the energy and focus, and the money situation was shaping up nicely.
Meanwhile our 37B House seat was in safe, although perhaps moderate, hands. Either way we didn’t have to worry about it.
…
Until now….
Rep Dennis Ozment has announced his retirement.
So now we’re defending one seat without an incumbent, and seeking to reclaim another seat. Looks like we got alot of work ahead of us in 2008, and that’s just in my Senate District. Should get rather interesting.
