Can We Dispense With The Lazy Claims Now??

The Daily Standard reports that Fred Thompson will spend every day from now until the day of caucuses (with the exception of Christmas Day) criss-crossing the state of Iowa, talking with voters and trying to raise his profile in the critical first state. Presumably the idea being that a strong showing in Iowa would keep him strong enough to last at least until Super Tuesday, regardless of how he does in other states.
Given that he\’s going to basically spend the next month living in Iowa, campaigning non-stop for a solid month, isn\’t it time to dispense with the claims that he\’s lazy and not serious???
Otherwise, it would have been alot easier for him to sit back at his campaign HQ and issue policy statements and press releases.
