Those of you living in the Apple Valley area, there will be an Open House event on future plans for Cedar Avenue. Which from what I can gather future plans includes everything from doing nothing to building a massive highway to basically using the same concept of the \”Big Dig\” for Apple Valley.
Since I hate our already high property taxes and most of the proposals sound extremely expensive I\’m naturally interested. Plus the fact that Cedar Avenue is about 3 blocks behind my house makes me a little concerned about a frigging highway being put in.
The event details are as follows :
Tuesday, November 13, 2007
3:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Dakota County
Western Service Center Atrium
14955 Galaxie Avenue
Apple Valley, MN 55124
I\’ll be there, for how long depends on how annoyed I get. If you\’re there and want to know where I am, I\’m the one asking questions like \”Are you Icelandic or retarded?\” or \”Admit it, you guys really have no clue what you\’re doing do you?\”.
NOTE : You gotta love the time they planned this at. Basically they are holding it while anyone who might be interested in it is busy at work, commuting and/or preparing dinner for their families. I interpret that time slot as \”We don\’t give a crap what you say, we want to do our own thing\”.
