From the Department of Most Unsurprising News Of The Days, comes the news that Coleman will endorse Giuliani for President. Hardly a surprise there. They are both RINOS and they have to stick together lest they be singled out and trampled by the hordes of elephants that are getting rather ornery.

Besides, neither one has much to lose from it. Those that still find an ounce of value in one of them, probably already looks highly upon the other.

A Republican source told Politico that the endorsement also plays into another argument the Giuliani campaign will be making to the party in coming days.

“Senator Coleman is a targeted Republican from a purple state,” the source e-mailed. “For him to take sides in the Republican primary speaks volumes about what having Rudy Giuliani at the top of the ticket would mean. It will help Republicans take back the Senate.”

I find that highly unlikely, as Coleman is one of the reasons much of the conservatives base is up in arms and ready to revolt. Name the last big issue he supported us on. I’ll give you the time, you’ll need to flip back through alot of pages. Although you’ll have plenty of time, because chances are good if Coleman/Giuliani got their way* an illegal immigrant would have your job anyway. And don’t worry about getting an infected papercut or anything, Coleman voted for socialized healthcare (SCHIP) so you can see a doctor in about 10-12…..years.
