It is obvious that you do not know anyone who would be directly affected by the passing of the DREAM Act bill. People tend to not care about what doesn't affect them. Not just anyone can walk into an office and say they have been here since they were fifteen without legal proof. There are endless ways to prove them wrong. I don't think high schools, junior highs or elementary schools just randomly make up transcripts for anyone who asks. This bill asks for legitimate proof. I know because I would be one directly affected by it. I have been since I was 8 and am now 26. I attended elementary, junior high, high school and even have my Bachelor's degree. I can be here but I can't work because of the way I came into the country, which was by no way my choice. I love it here and have always been a good citizen. I am patiently waiting for the chance to work here and continue to be denied it by those who believe such as you. Who can't look past their own lives and are quick to call everything an amnesty when it is not. This bill allows studious and good obiding immigrants that live in this country whether it be illegally or legally and without permission to work to finally plan and work for their future.
