I keep thinking that the administration of massive shocks (by phone, FAX and email), and the way the walls of their maze keep shifting and closing in (the unprecedented high-handedness of Sen. Reid in manipulating this process) would cause most lab rats to sit on their hands until it was over-- to simply refuse to play the silly game. But of course rats, unlike Senators, have proven their intelligence. I think the lab rats in Congress are being given another intelligence test. What they don’t understand is that this bill will NOT be improved. The only amendments being allowed are those agreed upon in backroom negotiations amongst the pro-amnesty crowd.
