I\’m A Rockstar!!

January 18th, 2007 by Kevin

I've been blogging for a long time.  I mostly do it for myself, but it's always nice when I find that others have enjoyed my site or what I've had to say.  Then again, sometimes I don't always get the response I expected.  Still it's always nice to be recognized.

Now longtime readers will know I've been nominated for every Rock Solid in the Blogosphere award there has been.  I've never won but I've come close.  Well I think I just scored even better.  So despite being up against Michelle Malkin, Mary Katherine Ham, Glenn Reynolds and Scott Johnson, I'm happy to announce I've been awarded the Rock Star in the Blogosphere award.

\"Rock

I'd like to thank all the little people, and if you're reading this you are one.  I'd like to thank my parents for not smothering me in my crib and thereby sparing the world alot of trouble.  I'd like to thank God for having a really short name which makes it easier to type since he made me lazy.  I'd like thank Learned Foot for having such low integrity that he even considered me.  I'd also like to pre-emptively thank my fellow contenders for not getting sour at the fact that I'm gonna milk this award for all it's worth.

I am your Rock Star!! Now where are my groupies?

Congrats, man. When do you get your picture on the cover of Rolling Stone?

[...] Well once I was awarded the RockStar in the Blogosphere award, it was only a matter of time until the old media picked it up.  But it's still an honor. [...]
