Musharraf last week signed into law some amendments to the Hudood Ordinance, a 1979 law against rape that human rights activists said punished rape victims while providing legal safeguards for their attackers.

What were those amendments exactly?? Basically they removed the requirement that a rape victim present at least four witnesses in court and that the rape victim can be put to death for the crime of being raped. Wow, a huge leap in human right there.

But the point is that those who take the bullshit politically correct position that we must always respect other cultures, regardless if they pass the ethnocentric \”fucking stupid\” litmus test, because no culture is by nature superior to another. If one accepts this premise, they must by extension admit that rape is acceptable under certain conditions. Those conditions being the rapist is Muslim and that said rapist essentially doesn\’t commit the act in public.

However, if one decides that no, rape is still not okay under those conditions they are committing the very ethnocentric evil they previously have decried. How can one say rape is not okay under certain circumstances?? After all, this culture (and I think 20,000 can be called a culture) thinks it is, and for you to claim otherwise is to put your cultural views above anothers.

I long ago saw political correctness for what it is….bullshit. Bullshit that is going to get us all killed if you follow it to it\’s logical conclusion. When it takes the form of suggested \”social etiquette\”, then you might find me a supporter. But one must remain vigilant of what exactly your line of thought advocates, otherwise one quickly becomes a hypocrite. Potentially a dead one.
