UPDATE : Twin Cities March For Amnesty

April 7th, 2006 by Kevin

As I mentioned before there will be a march in support of illegal immigration this Sunday in Minnesota. I’ve found more information, including the event flyer (not surprisingly in both Spanish and English).

It appears the march will begin at 2:30 PM at the St. Paul Cathedral (239 Selby Ave) and proceed to the State Capitol. Presumably they will have a rally there on the steps of the capital. The event is being labeld “March for Immigration with Dignity”…apparently they feel there should be dignity in breaking the law. The event is being organized by the Alliance for Fair and Federal Immigration Refrom in Minnesota (AFFIRM).

I’ll be there as an observer, taking pictures of all the interesting events going on. I’ll fill you in on the details hopefully on Monday.

Hey, I was just curious if you knew of any anti-illegal immigration rallies in the near future. I’m sick of seeing thousands in the streets in support of illegal activity. I don’t understand why Americans don’t counter-protest. Big believer in if we do nothing, nothing will change. We have to stand up to this nonsense.
