Oh goodie, fresh from insinuating that somebody should poison Justice Stevens, the right\’s own crazed talking head puts her foot in her mouth again.

And I\’m sure I speak for most conservatives when I say that we would love to stick our foot in her mouth if it will only shut her up.

Let me be clear. Coulter has always been a bit to the extreme and she has always said things that were a bit on the edge. Nothing extreme but just enough to get people to perk up and listen to her, which was nice because she usually followed it up with sound reasoning.

This however goes beyond decency and all that is appropriate. So far I haven\’t seen a single conservative that supports what she said and many have already condemned it, and rightly so. Had she used the terms that indicate we are not at war with all who cover their head she might have found her statements were better received. Instead, she had to draw attention to herself, and in the process smear all those around her.

In addition to being inappropriate and wrong, her comments also damage the conservative cause she claims to support. Previously conservatives could claim to be above such outrageous and inappropriate statements used by the likes of Howard Dean, Michael Moore, Al Franken, all of Hollywood, Hillary Clinton, and other liberals. Now, all conservatives will be seen in the same light.
